Due to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ruling, the new ultra-low sulfur diesel fuel that replaced traditional diesel contains 97% less sulfur. Several statistics show that the reduction of excess emissions will be dropped by 90% by 2010 when the new diesel is the only diesel sold.
